The party is getting even bigger with Jamboree TV!

The Mario Party™ series is back with even more ways to get festive! The Super Mario Party™ Jamboree – Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition + Jamboree TV game is giving partygoers new modes and minigames using the Joy-Con™ 2 mouse controls, HD rumble 2, and the system’s built-in microphone. This enhanced version of the game offers some interesting upgrades, so let’s get into them.

Mario Party

By using a single compatible USB camera (sold separately), up to four players* can jump into the game. With CameraPlay, players can see each other’s faces during minigames and when viewing the game board. Check out your friends’ reactions to landing on your traps or as you pass them on the way to the Star.

(Just remember, they’ll also be able to see you if they pass by and swipe your Jamboree Buddy. It’s all fun and games—even when Yoshi walks away with another player.)

Two new rulesets have also been added to Mario Party mode: Tag-Team Rules and Frenzy Rules!

In Tag-Team Rules, it’s a 2-on-2 battle across the board! Work together with your teammate to collect coins and Stars. You might also find Together Dice, which only appear in this ruleset. Call your teammate to your location to help you roll two dice and move that many spaces—together. This means items, Stars, and even space effects are doubled!

Now, in Frenzy Rules, you only have five turns to win—so, the pressure is on. Each player will start with 50 coins, a Double Dice item, and a Star. Challenge your rivals to duels and see who will take those precious coins.

Bowser Live!

Oh dear—Bowser is hosting a performance, and you're the main act in Bowser Live! Two teams compete in a variety of fun minigames controlled by sound and full-body movement.

A word of advice: Bowser is lookin’ for a show, so it’s going to take each team getting rather lively to impress the big guy. Using the built-in microphone on your system, you can clap your hands or use your voice to control the action in certain modes. Collect coins by bashing ? Blocks or make some noise for Bowser in “Call and Response.”

Carnival Coaster

Lock in and get ready for a wild co-op coaster ride! Using the mouse controls, you’ll shoot down enemies while you feel the bumps and rumbles of the coaster. But time isn’t on your side, so you miiight want to hurry. When you enter a Pipe, you’ll hop off the rails and into a minigame! Up to four players can work together to complete each minigame’s task. Depending on how you do, you can earn additional time. How fast will you be able to reach the station?
