Get to know your Nintendo Switch 2 system!
If you’re reading this article, chances are that you probably got a Nintendo Switch™ 2 system recently (if so, welcome aboard!). We hope you’re ready to embark on incredible adventures that take full advantage of your system. A number of games have come out since launch, including Mario Kart™ World, Donkey Kong™ Bananza, Cyberpunk 2077, and EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 26 (just to name a few).
You must be eager to start playing games, so…you should do that! (Seriously, this article will be here for you later.)
But if you do have some time, we recommend checking out the Welcome Center, your one-stop destination for getting started with your new system. There, you can learn about a whole range of topics, including:
Transferring data from your previous Nintendo Switch (if you have one)
All about the HOME menu
How Parental Controls work
…and lots more!
And if you already have a Nintendo Switch game collection, here are a few things to keep in mind:
Compatible Nintendo Switch games*** are playable on Nintendo Switch 2
Certain games have received free updates to enhance the gameplay experience on Nintendo Switch 2
Select games have paid upgrade packs that may add new content and upgrades for Nintendo Switch 2
OK, that about wraps it up (for now). We hope you enjoy your new system.
Happy gaming, everyone!
